A Personal Service, With Care & Respect
DW Grave Care & Tending is a small, independent grave maintenance service based in Frome, Somerset. There's no office, no team of strangers, no call handler — just someone local who turns up, does the work carefully, and lets you see it was done.
Why This Work Matters
A grave is the one place a family can go to remember someone. When it can't be visited — because of distance, age, health, or simply the way life passes — it's easy for guilt to set in, and for a plot to slowly look forgotten even when nobody wanted it to.
This service exists to take that weight off. Whether you live twenty miles away or two thousand, a phone call or message is all it takes to have a resting place looked after properly.
How I work
Personally. The person you speak to is the person who does the work. Care and respect are taken at every stage — how a stone is cleaned, how flowers are placed, how a plot is left looking afterwards.
At an agreed time. We arrange what needs doing and when. For recurring visits, that simply carries on in the background without you needing to chase anyone.
With proof. Photographs before and after can be provided, so you can see the condition of the resting place for yourself rather than having to take it on trust.
Based in Frome
Frome, Somerset — covering the town and the surrounding areas. Local enough to keep an eye on plots between visits, and close enough for the cemeteries and churchyards families ask about most.
